Vintage Clash Of The Titans CHARON Mattel 1980- resealed/nice card!/NMint Figure

Clash Of The Titans 'Charon' Mattel 1980,   re-sealed on a very nice clean card, still has the Children's Palace/Childs World price sticker on the back. This is the 'clean' white cardback variant (as opposed to the darker-toned 'dirty' variant), the less common version, and still has the punch tab attached. 100% original card/bubble, figure and sword (this figure came off this same card as well). The reseal is nicely done, considering I pulled it off the card myself as a 9 year old kid in 1980 and stored the figure in a Darth Vader case for over 30 years, keeping the card and bubble in another box. Around 2010, I decided to reseal it back on the card, since the card and bubble were in such good shape. I resealed using clear 3M glue and it is firm and solid, the bubble itself is clear and in good, uncrushed shape, some mild scuffing here and there. The figure was pulled off the card from the bottom, so it was still attached all those years in the top half of the bubble and looks much nicer in the upper bubble area. See the photos for more details of the condition and where the damage from removing the figure in 1980 is visable on the cardback (back and front), they do a better job descrbing than I do. This is a nice, clean and very displayable example of a classic figure from the Gen-X Star Wars era, and a nice way to get a carded Charon for your collection without playing 0++ (or more for a 'graded' example). If not for the figure removal all those years ago and the more recent reseal, this would likely have graded an AFA 80-85.
