Vintage Bisque Porcelain "Abigail Adams" 18-1/2" Doll Ready-to-Dress

Description

This doll is from the estate of my grandmother who was a doll maker and collector. She is a vintage original that has never been used and has been carefully stored for at least the last 20 years.
The only flaw in the porcelain parts is a chip in the top of one foot; the cloth body is in excellent shape.
The doll head is nicely painted and has lovely textured caramel-blonde molded hair.  She has cloth arms and porcelain forearms with hands that are artistically molded with distinct fingers and painted pink nails. She wears lace-trimmed pantaloons and underskirt.  My guess is that the legs are not the original as they are white bisque with china glazed flat shoes; the other porcelain pieces are tinted bisque.  She's nearly finished-- just needs is some new clothes...
