Black Baby Grand Piano Shell/Stand Fits 88 Note Keyboard, built for stage use

Clearance priced, been listed for well over a year.  Will not offer another at this price that has been widened.  Will not ship.  Price listed is less than refinishing cost.
Built from an actual baby grand piano, made into a shell - action, strings, plate, pinblock, trapwork removed - still full size with full size stage presence but much lighter than an acoustic piano.  Cabinet modified to accept a keyboard up to 59 3/16" wide and 22" deep.  Outside dimensions 64 1/4" wide and 62" long.  Height with the lid down is 38 1/4", lid all the way up is 69" and on the short prop stick is 52 1/4". Enjoy the flexibility of a keyboard with the stage presence of a grand piano but without the weight and hassle of moving an actual grand.
Keyboard shown in above photos is NOT included, it is shown solely for the purpose of demonstrating how the shell looks with a keyboard in it.
Legs easily & quickly remove and install with nothing more than a rubber mallet, held in place by leg plates and a tapered hardwood wedge.  Ball bearing swivel, rubber wheel casters make positioning on stage a breeze and will not mar a hardwood floor.  There are dolly rails on the bass side to make moving easier, no need to worry about the overhang of the lid, the rails are what contacts the dolly when the shell is on its side, protecting the finish on the main cabinet and allowing it to ride level on the dolly. There is a lid lock to keep the lid secured when moving the shell on its side - no need to tie it in place. Total weight 185 lbs. which is actually very manageable since you're only lifting one corner (left corner, 54 lbs), removing a leg then easing it over onto a dolly. Legs can be stored inside the shell - everything related to the shell itself rolls on a dolly into the venue - easy to get into venue, easy setup, easy takedown.  I can set this shell up or break it down in less than two minutes.  See video below...
The finish is what I call stage quality.  It is a semi-gloss black, nitrocellulose lacquer.  This is not a living room quality finish - but it is a finish that will look great on stage and is fairly easily touched up after the inevitable bump and scrape that comes from moving stage pieces around.  The original soundboard has been sanded and refinished, providing nice contrast to the ebony cabinet.
I've done a number of these, starting over 25 years ago (see the last photo) when I was commissioned to build 2 shells that exotic dancers would be landing "tail first" on - I didn't ask any questions past that part..... I tell you this to let you know if you have special requests (obviously those lids had to be reinforced) let me know and we'll discuss what can be done to accommodate you.
What you see in the pics is what you get - if you need a pedal lyre (some folks use them to conceal cables) let me know and I'll modify the auction accordingly (adds 0, finished to match, installed with a locking leg plate like the legs).  Some folks also prefer a cover over the area where the keyboard will sit, let me know your needs and we can discuss options.
