    This is an 802nm laser diode which can output 7.5W optical power from 0.22NA 200um core fiber. It is a High Heat Load package with male SMA connector, which was made in the USA. It came to us with a lot of other electronic/opto-electronic related surplus. We have 3 such lasers in stock. The lasers are brand new not used.

    Return policy:
    We will test the lasers before shipment; buyer should contact us as soon as he find it is defective;
    Refund request should be made within 14 days buyer receives the product;
    Replacement request should be made within 30 days buyer receives the product;
    Since this is a Do-It-Yourself laser diode, we only refund if the product arrive to be defective; so please use it gently and properly when you assemble your device; you also need to send back in original shape to get refund/replacement; we won't refund or replace if the laser was damaged by buyers;
    Some tips for operating laser diode:
    Please use a power supply with stable output. Transient current spikes should be avoided.
    Please always connect the pins correctly.
    Heat sink with good thermal dissipation is required for holding the laser otherwise the laser will be burned.
    Please use eye protection when you operate the laser.
    It is better to wear an antistatic wrist band.
    You should always start with current well below the diodes maximum.(About 10.0 amps in this case).
