    Description

    7 Pieces of Syracuse GALATEA Railroad Restaurant Ware Old Ivory Very Rare Lot.
    Galatea (for Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul & Pacific) by Syracuse, 1851. Included are three salad plates, three soup bowls, and a celery/carrot/scallion/crudité dish. All the pieces have minor utensil scratches, but not the gray kind. The celery dish has a small, dull, non-dangerous, unobtrusive chip on the bottom. Absolutely no crazing and no cracks.
    Pictures on the border are alternating: a man throwing a discus, a man chasing a swan with a branch, and abstract scrollwork.
