Historic and rare early song book w/ photos published in Honolulu.
Published with the approval of the Hawaii Promotion Committee, circa 1917. 56 pages. Illustrated with early photographs of Hawaii. Containing many classic songs with music composed by, arranged by, or the ukulele chords written by Ernest Ka'ai (1881-1962) often noted as "Hawaii's Greatest Ukulele Player.
The songbook must have been coming apart and was reinforced long ago with a very sturdy brown tape. Please note that the first page containing photographs (front & back) was rebound in the back of the 56 pg sheet music book.
